The tribal government of the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians is reaching out to the people of Flint.
The tribe from Manistee is donating $10,000 to the Genesee County sheriff’s office to help in their recover work.
Tribal leaders say this is a time when Michiganders need to come together to help the people of Flint in any way we can.
Little River reiterated their commitment to addressing the importance of water quality and how it’s is the most critical party to the cycle of life.
